CONCEPT
My design team and I collaborated with culinary students to create a brand and menu items for their athletic performance cuisine pop- up. Mexican food was served to the JWU girls lacrosse team and six of the Providence Bruins. My graphics were chosen to be implemented throughout the deliverables of the pop-up, my team and I worked closely to make sure everything was cohesive.
INSPIRATION
In Spanish Ahumado translates to the cooking technique; smoking, this sparked the inspiration for a desert theme. When it came to designing the informational brochure it went perfectly with the theme, using the dehydration of the desert to my advantage. I added an oasis to the landscape used in the other materials.

TECHNIQUES
To create the Main Menu we layered different colors of paper on top of one another that had been pre-cut with a laser cutter. For the individual menus we burned Ahumado and a Cactus into the sanded wood slabs. Then layered the paper on top for each course so that it became a flip menu.
